FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How will we plan my shoot?
We’ll begin with an in-depth Personal Branding Questionnaire, Posing, and Style Guide. Then we’ll create a Mood Board on Pinterest for style inspiration. These tools will guide our shoot together and help us plan the location, style, stories to share, props, and more.
How will we choose a location?
I love to work outdoors with natural lighting, and most of my clients prefer the same. We will discuss location and details in our planning stages. If you prefer to work indoors or in an office-type setting, there are many hourly rental spaces available for this purpose. Unless otherwise noted in your package, the rental fee for any space will be your responsibility.
How can I use the images?
Your package includes a commercial usage license giving you permission to use the photos on your website, online space, marketing materials, and social media outlets. If any third party magazine, publication, or organization wishes to use the images, please refer them to me to purchase a use license.
How will the images be delivered?
Your images will be delivered to you via a private digital gallery.
What if I want extra images?
The more, the merrier! You can purchase additional images for an extra cost.
What is your style of shooting?
My style is light, bright, vibrant, modern, clean, and fun. I like to use natural light as much as possible, but I can use flash or other lighting when necessary.
How long will it take to receive my images?
Once you select your final images from the proof gallery, it will take about a week or two for me to complete the editing and send you your final images. If you need them sooner, just let me know, and I’ll try to work it out for you.
What kind of shots can we do?
In our planning stage, we’ll discuss the different types of shots you’d like. We can do headshots, action shots, mid-shots, and full-body shots. You can even use your products as props.
How early should I book my session?
We’ll want sufficient time to plan and secure your location, so I recommend booking at least a few weeks in advance.
What about props and styling?
I have a few props I can suggest, but you’re also welcome to purchase or bring props that align with our shoot plan. Bonus points for bringing your own products.
Do I have to credit your work when using the images online?
No, your license does not require credit when posting, but please share your experience with me and recommend my services to anyone you know who’s ready for a brand overhaul.
